It’s been an interesting year for me.
I had an old friend who was a Winchester dealer and collector for years unexpectedly pass away last Fall at 81. I have another friend who has been collecting Winchesters for about 50 years who decided to start selling off his collection at age 82.
As a result, I’ve ended up with some beautiful high quality Winchesters.
Here are 3 model 94s that I acquired in the last 6 months or so. Top one in the picture is supposedly unfired. My friend says he has the original box somewhere, but can’t remember where he stashed it 😂😂😂. My fingers are crossed that he eventually remembers where it is!

Like I said in that other post, I need you to buy me a lottery ticket!
😂😂😂….. I have definitely been lucky to find some really nice stuff lately.
One thing that I have learned is this…..
Long time collectors really appreciate when they see their years worth of joy, continue on with a younger collector who shares and appreciates their same passion.

I agree. When some homeless waif follows me home from the Orphanage I feel I’m helping a kindred soul rest better in the hereafter. At least, that’s what I tell myself when I pay too much for something I REALLY like!
