I have had 1873’s in 22 caliber before, but never have I seen a good bore until I got this one. It not only has a good bore, it is shiny. I paid $100.00 for a carton of 500 22 long ammunition. Not cheap, but if you are going to shoot, you need to have ammo.
I took it out this weekend and sighted it in on a box, then started shooting cans. It certainly is capable of fine accuracy. That can cost me a couple dollars of ammo to shoot, but if you are going to shoot you have to buy the ammo…
