I doubt the seller is making up fake boxes. He does have some correct boxes in his auctions.
Perhaps, the seller bought a collection of rifles and was, himself, fooled by the fake items. He’s now be in the position where he knows they are fake and has decided that he will pass them on to the next owner as original.
The whole point of this topic string was to educate all interested persons using this forum that did not know or recognize that the items in question are not real, and to hopefully prevent someone from getting burned. These guns came to my attention from a WACA forum member.
In regards to the fake boxes, somebody most certainly did make them, and the sundry literature with them. Whether or not it was the seller or someone else, the seller is ultimately the responsible culprit. He knows they are fakes. There are also factory originality issues with at least two of the guns (the Model 94s).
