I have put together a second trip to the USA – Gun Trip USA 2014, from the 1st to the 12th April, 2014. We will start in New York at the Intrepid Museum, then up the New Haven, Connecticut, to catch up with Winchester Historian, Author & Engraver Pauline Muerrle at the old Winchester Factory site with some of her old workmates. We will then check out the old Marlin Factory site & the Colt Collection at the museum of Connecticut History.
From there we will head down to Fairfax, Virginia to the NRA Museum, before flying to Tulsa, Oklahoma for the Tulsa Gun Show.
We will then go to the JM Davis Gun Museum before heading down to Texas for another Game Ranch hunt. We will have a machine gun shoot at exploding targets & a visit to the Texas Ranger Museum before heading home.
I have 2 places left for any Aussies that want to join us, cost is $6,999, check out my website http://www.oldwestguns.com.au
If any of you in the states can make any suggestions for things to do along the way, or if we can catch up with any of you over there that would be great also. I got some great suggestions from you all last time, & had a great time with some of you at the Big Reno Show last year.

Hello Peter,

The Davis Gun Museum is quite a unique place. I catalogued the Model 1892’s they have in the collection a couple summers ago. You had better plan on several hours in the place.

That sounds like another great trip! Did you make it to San Antonio last time to visit the Alamo? If not that might be a fantastic way to end your trip, since it is not far south of the Texas Ranger Museum in Waco.
