Seeking value of a 28 gauge single shot shotgun that my grandfather owened. This is a gift to my son as well.
Made my Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works in Fitchburg, MASS. It has the word Champion under the address. Serial # 87622
Condition is “good”.

I am an Iver Johnson nut as well as a Winchester nut. Without pics I’m guessing $250 for value. To my mind the Iver Johnson’s are the best fitting of the farmer guns built. I have an Iver Johnson Champion Solid rib 16 gauge built on a 20 gauge frame that I would not part with. But like Bert said, this is the wrong place for Iver Johnson’s.
