Model 53 #475  32/20 takedown, factory mounted A5 scope, Winchester marked sheepskin scoped rifle case.

Bert, would you happen to have a Winchester catalog/reference showing a Winchester sheepskin scoped rifle case??  I don’t find one in the catalogs that I have currently.    Tom

Tom,

I do not remember ever seeing reference to one in any of my references (catalogs).

Gentlemen, thank you for the information you have contributed above for the Model 53 database. The next big milestone will the the statistically significant 5% level, probably still a couple years away, but we are inexorably getting closer.

Win 38-55

Nice job on the Model 53 article.  I don’t see so many of that family of Winchester and its cartridges around this area.  I have an extra box of 32-20 for you with the Model 53 callout, I’ll have to toss it over to you if we ever cross pathsLaugh

Brad, glad you enjoyed the article. That box would be a nice addition to my very small collection of boxes. Not sure where we shall cross paths, however. If it is empty it could be mailed but if it has live ammo in it I guess our paths would literally have to cross. I am seldom in the US except for frequent visits to my sister in NY state and the occasional cross country run across the north-central states.

I also enjoyed the article on the Model 53. 32-20 is a great cal to shoot ,  very easy  to re-load and pleasant to shoot at targets

Thanks Kirk
