I did already have it, and Yes, it is a real Spruce Gun. For what it is worth, I have not yet found a Spruce Gun in what could be called “excellent” condition. This one is in average condition as compared to the other (283) documented in the survey.

I figured you would already have it. If it were just normal wear and tear it doesn’t bother me so much, but when they break out the sandpaper it’s a different story.
