Got this cool photo from a post on the Colt Forum.

 

Note the interesting selection of rifles in the rear group.

Any guesses on the bolt guns’ models? Look like 52’s to me but I’m just guessing.

The Detroit Naval Ordinance plant is actually located in Warren, MI about two miles from where I used to live.  I toured the place as a Boy Scout long ago.  The facility has since closed and been demolished.

The handguns are quite interesting as well a couple of H&R Defender .30 revolvers and two or three others that appear to be nickel plated.

I agree, definitely 52’s.  Notice that a couple of the gals don’t have an acceptable grip on some of the handguns and rifles.
