Hi Everyone,
I picked up what appears to be a leather tool roll, or perhaps some sort of gun-related roll. I can’t find any info or pictures of anything like this online, so I came here looking for help. I’m not a gun person, just a tool collector (mostly Stanley woodworking tools) but from the research I’ve done, the Winchester Logo sewn into the roll looks to be from about the 1920’s.
The roll measures about 15″ wide by 27″ long unrolled and 26″ wide when opened with the inside “wings” open.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
Tom.

Here is one on Ebay looks like the exact same type of tool holder roll. (Just noticed it appears the poster is also the Ebay seller, So I guess you figured out what it was?)
They also used similar rolls for scissors and other like items.
Sincerely,
Maverick
