Hi can anyone help me dating this small box of Berdan primers my friend found in his house?
any other info is appreciated as well. we don’t know anything about winchesters
thanks
I’ll have to research my files more, but off the top of my head certainly Post-1910. Due to the Red W and throughout the world language used.
Also the label has a dot code cut into it and I don’t off hand remember what dates it was used.
Sincerely,
Maverick

Yeah I missed the date code on the label. That said, the punched dot code used on the label my push it into the 1920s.
Another thing I’m not certain about is when they stopped making the containers out of brass and switched to cardboard.
Sincerely,
Maverick
