OfflineShoulder should be .325″. I bet this is the problem. The taper from the head to the shoulder is probably not enough.
Very cool set up Roger. Winchester supplied various types of buckles to Mills. Military and civilian. The 2 companies had a good relationship. That’s why many Winchester ammo boxes have a Mills ad.

OfflineI wanted a double loop cartridge belt to go with my 1895 in 30 GOVt. 06. I thought the loops had possibly shrunnk over time and by wetting the belt it might stretch back out to ’06. I decided not to soak the belt and leave it as is. Another “But I thought” moment in my life.
