I just purchased and unboxed a winchester sxp extreme deer hybrid with a pistol grip. The bottom of the grip seems to be missing the end cap and now that I think of it , thats how it was displayed at the gun shop as well.

Does anyone know why that is ? Are they manufactured that way for a reason?
