Have a Model 1906, 22 rimfire rifle, serial #645xxxB since 1949.  Received as

a birthday present at 12 yrs. old.   In excellent condition, still blued.  Anyway does

anyone have an info re background on this model ?

Your gun was made in 1920.  The attached link will take you to a sight that can give you, for a fee, the exact date the serial number was applied.  No other records are available.

The book I have listed in the swap meet is the paperback version, but includes both volume 1 and volume 2.  It’s still available–send me a PM if interested.

I don’t do paranoid XXX’s Clarence. Deerhunters book is real cheap. I just bought #1 and #2 hard covers. Not cheap. Big Larry
