I inherited a Winchester Model 75 Target (Ser #87XXX). My measurements from end of barrel to bolt head is 24 inches.
Everything that I have found online state that the barrel length is 28 inches.
It definately is the target model (hooded front sight, adjustable Redman peep rear sight, six position front sling mount).
Did Winchester ever make a Model 75 Target with 24 inch barrel?
Any information would be appreciated, Thanks 🙂
Hi,
No factory 24″ inch barreled Model 75 Targets that I am aware of. Very interesting!
What is the diameter at the muzzle? Can you take some pictures of the front sight, crown and model roll-marking on the barrel?
You can email them to me at Abendshien @aol.com
Thanks!
