I have my uncles Winchester 61 22 Cal rifle and it works fine. I am looking for info to service it (Disassemble, clean, etc.) I loosened the captured side screw and took the 2 halves appart. that is as far as I got. Called Winchester and the did not have anything but tole me to call Cody. They didn’t have anything either and told me to contact you guys. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is a beauty of a rifle.

Gave it a quick glance….. not sure about what he says, but it should give you a good idea.
When I say’not sure about what he says’… I didn’t listen to the entire video…. Not that I disagree with what he said or something of that nature

Is the rifle a standard rifle with a round barrel? SN 12342 was just for sale on Gunbroker out of Lexington IL.

eBay has several reproductions available of the factory takedown manual. Terrific drawings from long ago. This is a very helpful resource.

Hi Guys,
I can second Homestead disassembly manuals I don’t have that one but I have ones for the 1886, 1892, and the 1894 and they are very good and worth the money in my opinion.
