Welcome!
VERY nice looking Model 59! They were only made for 1 year (1930) in the middle of the depression so it is hard to find one in good condition as many were heavily used to put meat on the table during that period.
Thanks for posting the picture.

I think it would be very cool to have one of each Winchester .22
That would require a decent sized gun safe just to house them all.

No, it would require a decent size house to house them all 😉 I speak from experience.

That is only true because you treat Winchester .22 rifles like Lays potato chips! You did not stop after just one (of each model)… instead, you just had to keep at it until you had one of each favor (variant) for the majority of the models that were manufactured.

Of course! Lays come in many flavors!

Well, I had one of each model, until I sold my 1885 single shot 22 to JWA. Then I started giving them away to my relatives and friends. I honestly don’t know how many are left as my collecting interests have changed. Still, 22’s are my favorites. Sending the $$$ to MA. Monday for a 1940 Colt MT Bullseye, the one with the Elephant Ear stocks. I always wanted one, but they are very expensive. Have no plans to divest myself of any of my M59’s. Big Larry

I’m thinking you’re right, Bert. I know my safe won’t hold them all.
Problem with getting one of each, Deg, is after you score an 1890 in Short you find one in Long Rifle and decide it would be nice to have in in Long to complete the set. Then you find out that doesn’t complete the set. Or you score a nice 69 and then decide you want a Target Rifle with a receiver sight. Then you discover there was a version with a grooved receiver but when you buy JWA’s 69 book you realize there were other variations you’ve never heard of. Then there’s the single shots and semi-autos. And don’t forget to pick up an 1873 along the way. It would be cool to see one of each model all in one place. Collect what you like and have fun.
