As I understand, there are wear-out issues with the aluminum receivers on the 255, causing slop allowing the chambered round to expand and get stuck after firing, or incorrectly ejecting shells. Two different gunsmiths have confirmed the issue with mine. I don’t like having anything nonfunctional, and the gun was given to me by my father, so I am trying to locate a replacement receiver. Any help would be appreciated.
