So i am curious what percentage of the value of this auction is based on the B3 scope? I would say the M63 in question is a $700 gun…are the Winchester scope’s that desirable? Thanks for input.
It looks like this M63 had a tang sight at one time and the wood seems to be depressed or cut in the tang area to accommodate.

Worth $700, maybe $800 at the max. Production of the B-series ended in 1918, if not before, so the scope is certainly not original to the gun, as the lunatics bidding on it may believe. You’re right about the tang sight.
I came to this thread via search to help me value another 63 I was looking at on GB and clicked the above to look at it….since this was really recent I thought I’d post it went for >$2500 if you didn’t see the result!

The knowledge you could gain during that meal would be worth more than a 1906. Don’t push your luck, Big Larry is a pretty savvy gun trader from what I can tell.
