Haven’t seen before. Three blade flip-up sight on a mod 60a. Is it even Winchester? wm_8739922.jpgImage Enlarger

Vince,

It kind of looks like a Winchester Express rear sight no. 56B (with the marked leafs) to me.  It is not normally indigenous to the Model 60A though.  What front sight does it have?

It does appear to be a Winchester 3-leaf Express sight, and it would ordinarily be found on an early 1900s vintage Model 1894.

That would be a 34 series sight.  Lots of them on Model 1894/94s like Bert mentioned. Underside of the bottom leaf usually has a letter code for the specific 34 sight, such as 34-C.  The particular sight in the image has been filed flat, like many rear sights were, or otherwise modified.  Filing out the notch(es) is also found fairly often on Winchester rear sights if you look close.

Here is the where to find the “C” on this sight.  In the second image you can also see file marks on this sight, it just was not filed down all the way.

I would be looking for a Winchester 32-B rear sight with the 2-C elevator. That is what is on my M60-A.   Big Larry
