My wife loves pretty wood! I was aware this 62 A may have been upgraded when I purchased it. Serial #260992.

Wow, someone dropped plenty dough to “upgrade” this 62! Anyone who’d prefer it “factory original” is daft. Sure doesn’t deserve that ugly name you applied to it.

I think I’d be able to overlook a lack of originality, but just this once. 😉 I’m a sucker for nice wood and the craftsman involved here certainly didn’t let it go to waste.

Speaking of ’51 Chevy 3100 5 window pickup trucks, here’s a picture of mine that I bought in 1995 from a guy in Southern California and had it shipped home here in upstate NY.
It was a great truck that I sold several years ago and doubled my money.
I wish I still had it but I enjoyed it for many years.

You guys aren’t fooling anyone. You bought your wife something you wanted but it would of ruffled the nest. I know because I did the same thing when I spent 1K on a Winchester I wanted. She loves “her” rifle.
