A few closer photos of the 1903 I picked up this week.
The SN puts it at a 1917 DOM.
Not sure if the peep is correct but it appears to be.
I couldn’t resist the wood.

Fancy grain with lesser condition trumps plain grain in higher condition for me just about every time. Of course it’s always better to find fancy grain AND high condition in a single gun, so as not to have to struggle to pick between two guns!
