Good job! If I can do it anyone can. Just need a little work on focus, I always see what I want to see and forget to put that yellow square on the stuff other folks want to see. Congrats on the nice bore! Congrats on finding brass! If you’re using cast bullets consider ordering the RCBS Cowboy dies. I like it!

My camera is probably 10 years old and the close up focus does not work anymore. It used to take nice pics but like me it has seen it’s heyday!
I plan on using cast bullets and have RCBS cowboy dies for other calibers, just finished scouring the net and everyone is out of the 25-20 cowboy dies.
I just sent an email to RCBS, we’ll see what they say.

My previous iPhone had a better camera than my current one, much better than a digital camera I paid good money for not so long ago. I’m not convinced RCBS makes a 25-20 Cowboy die set. I have them for 32 and 38WCF and have seen listings for 44WCF but it won’t do much good to look for something they may not make.

Midway has the 2-die RCBS set, Redding has a die set that looks like just the ticket…at a price.

28 gauge, I want to shoot lead in it. Factory ammo is out of the question, the price borders on ridiculous/insane! I get most of my bullets from Montana Bullet Works, but all they have for the 25 is an 86 grain bullet. I am going to check around, a lighter bullet might be more accurate.
I hand load for my .25-20.I have quite a few Hiornady 60 grain bullets on hand to reload with. For myself I have found IMR powder to work well in my rifle.Yes factory .25-20 ammunition is dear, to say the least.:(The 60 grain Hornday bullets were not over the top,but I bought them several years ago,so I do not know what they go for these days.:)

I did find another bullet mfg. that has a lighter bullet for the 25, but the BHN is 13, a little to hard. I will keep looking!
I’d be tempted to try them if the profile is agreeable. 25-20 might be a little zippy for anything softer. Have you found any moulds you like?
