I ran across this forum searching for information on some Winchester firearms and thought I’d like to sign up. Looking forward to learning here although it will take me a while to get the hang of things.
You can participate on the forums as a guest, but a tremendous bonus to joining is the digital access to all past editions of the Winchester collector magazine. These go back many years and are full of amazing information penned by some of the most knowledgeable collectors extant. Much of it cannot be found in reference books.

Welcome DQL, what is your area of interest?
Tedk firearms in general my whole life. Just recently inherited some Winchester rifles and shotguns. Several model 12s, a 42, some 37s. Also some 70s, a 62A (my grandfathers), 1906 and 1890 I believe, and a 52. A bit overwhelmed at the moment. Thanks for the welcome.

Maybe we’re twin brothers separated at birth? Esp since I too fly the stars & bars.
Oh no, my mothers family came from Virginia.
Born and raised in central VA, Red Hill(Albemarle County) to be exact. Wide spot in the road. We have a quarry. I’m a land surveyor by trade.
