Nice enough gun but the “low” serial number doesn’t justify the asking price, IMHO. I have one a few months older but didn’t pay a premium for the “low” number.

Yup I agree Mike. I’ve had two 3 digit ser # 94’s & a 4 digit under ser 5000, and all first variation. I paid a slight premium for the 3 digit guns but that was my choice to acquire them.

In my research survey, I have S/N 148 shipped on Order # 481, but I do not have the Order # for S/N 152. That stated, I strongly suspect that both rifles were in the same as Order, as both shipped on the same date 10/30/1894.
