Thought this pretty neat! Can’t wait to see a bunch of Winchesters done this way. I think it’ll make things more interesting for collecting. You’ll be able to see a bit more detail of an entire gun.

Interesting concept. Allows you to really see the wood and any blemishes in the wood better, the receiver detail was lost in that you couldnt zoom in while rotating, or at least I didnt figure it out.
Back 20 years or so ago there was a company that came up with a technique to take two dimensional photos of pots, plates, and other 3 dimensional artifacts that had hieroglyphic text or iconographic motifs. Via the photo technique you could view entire hieroglyphic text or panel scene on a jar or whatever media in a flat 2 dimensional view. Super handy.
