Hello friends
I got a catalog again (at the moment I’m apparently a paper magnet). It’s in such good condition that I don’t know if it’s really original. It has 48 pages with title and spine.
What do you think?

It is a reproduction… the company that reprinted it has its name shown on the third picture you posted.

Yes there is, but most people would not see it.
The “Catalog” lists both the Wholesale and Retail prices, where as the Retail Price list is exactly just that.

So is what Steff has the catalog that would be sent to anyone writing in for one? Sure looks different from pre-war catalogs.

The example catalogs I posted pictures of were available to the general public. The Retail Price catalog style that Stefan has was introduced in the late 1930s.

Newest catalog I have is ’33 & I’ve been wanting to find a later one, ’35 to ’40. When did use of the blue cover end? Prefer an original, but will settle for a good repro, which excludes Cornell. I have an extra ’29 to trade.

The 1934 catalog has the Blue cover, and the 1936 is Tan cover (no catalog was issued in 1935).

To add to what Bert posted I have some info prepared by Ron Stadt on New Haven Arms and WRACO. I can not verify some of this info.
1865 – 1st and 2nd issue and a French issue.
1867 – 1st WRACO catalog.
1868 – Selection of an Arm for the use of Infantry and Calvary.
1869 – The First Requisite of a Military Rifle.
1871 – The Coming Gun, Petition to Congress by O. F. Winchester.
1875 – A second catalog but no info.
1877 – March, Revised Price List. First to show the 1876.
1878 – A March catalog, an August catalog and a Spanish and Chinese catalog.
1879 – Discount List English made doubles and price advances.
1881 – March catalog.
1882 – June, shotgun circular.
1884 – January Revised Price List.
1886 – Chinese catalog.
1895 – Lee Straight Pull catalog.
1897 – Shotshell catalog.
1899 – Salesman catalog.
His list goes on to 1934 but I have not taken the time to go through these.
A while back I made an spreadsheet list based on Ron Stadt’s information. His list only went to 1934. I made Bold the dates of catalogs not in the 12 Volume Set.
