I’m trying to insert a picture of this rifle, but like you said, the Flicker link didn’t work. It said “could not find image”.
I tried another online photo site called ibb.co also, but I got the same error.
I was going to try a Google Pictures link, but now it won’t let me edit my post for some reason.

Fact is, this site makes image posting by non-members close to impossible, as your experience, & that of many others, has repeatedly proven. Maybe a programmer can figure out how to do it, but most cannot.
Send the pictures to me and I will post them for you.

There is an easy solution to this… sign-up for a full WACA membership. The Magazines and Calendar are easily worth the cost of the membership.

That, Bert, is at last the truth about this recurrent issue…as opposed to pretending that if the poor sap trying to post can do so if only he “keeps trying.”
The photo posting is interesting. I started out here as a guest member and used an outside photo hosting site (initially photobucket and later Imgur). Then I became a member … but still kept using Imgur. I did so because it was easy and didn’t want to mess with learning the other way to do it through this site. I suppose this speaks to my ancient artifact status – stick with what I know rather than try something new. By the way, for me, trying something new – especially when it comes to this computer stuff – usually results in plenty of frustration. I get enough of that at my job.

Steve,
Even “old dogs” can learn new tricks (contrary to the popular old idiom). If you need help learning the process, let me know. I can have you posting pictures like an “Old Pro” in a manner of minutes.

Steve,
Looks’ like you figured it out…
Bert
Yes – but whether I can do it again is an unanswered question.
That is a relatively easy question to answer… post some more pictures!!
Another try. I did ok, but just because I did it (we’ll see in a minute when I hit submit) that doesn’t mean I’ll remember how next week.

You are correct Burt, But I was referencing the first picture Steve posted. Believe they are all 1894’s and I’m guessing in 32 special? BTW steve I didn’t know you where a 86 aficionado.

I think O’Cranky was referring to the first batch of photos I posted – which were carbines. But as far as the group of .33 WCF’s, I sure wish they were all M1886 SRC’s (in .33).
