Does anyone else have an issue with closing opened photos on Android phones?

When I click the photo in the post I can view it, but not close it. The “X” close button is there, but not pressable. Have to back out all the way to forum menu and go back to thread.

Edit:I’m using chrome browser.

I have the same issue on my phone. I refresh the page and the picture closes.

I’ve had issues with this on a regular desktop using Google Chrome browser. It often depends on the sizes of the photos. The larger sized ones this occurs.

I have found that when I’m unable to click on the X button. I can refresh the page and the opened image goes away. This is faster than having to back out and re-enter the page.

This change in the photos showing up like this started with the last major update to the forum.

Sincerely,

Maverick

Maverick,

That is a separate issue than the one they’re having. They have the close “X” button but it does not work where I have had the issue you have had with large images where the “X” box is above the top of the screen and you can’t scroll or move the image down to get to it.

Bob,

With that issue, simply press your “Esc” key to close out of the picture.

Sometimes pressing Esc closes out the entire thread.

I tried it and it does close off the open picture.

It shouldn’t do that… try to single tap the “Esc” key instead of pressing and holding the key.
