Everyone, alert!  There is an auction tomorrow, Saturday, 2-24, for what is claimed to be an 1890 with SN 1 (one).  I thought all should know.  It does not appear to be legitimate to me, looks like a Second Model.  It is on Shamrock Auction Service, Proxibid, Item #288.  If it is real, then it is something, but just wanted the club to know, thanks, Elliot

Since the rifle is a take down frame it is absolutely NOT SN #1 which would have been a solid frame first model gun.

Michael, EXACTLY!  Hard to believe they are selling this, they must know it is a second model?  I thought this was really interesting.  It is obviously not #1!!  It hasn’t sold yet, holding at $600, thanks, Elliot
