I just checked the listing and the catalogs have been sold.  Who knows for how much?  If I didn’t already have the set I would have made an offer to see if he would have come down.

I’ve done that many times myself–sometimes it works, sometimes not.  Talking about ebay–on GB, never, because the seller is seldom motivated to sell, unless it’s for top dollar, if not a sucker price.

Clarence, I always try to get the best price.  I have had some luck on Gunbroker with modern guns.

I have catalogs #72 October 1905 and #80 1916 and both are stapled.  I picked these up in an auction lot and both appear to be original.  The 1905 catalog is in very good condition.  The 1916 has a lot or writing and both covers are detached and has a piece of tape with “Given to me  by WW Mundt Great Falls, MT 1953”. This catalog also has the “Property of WW Mundt” stamped in several locations.  The 1906 catalog has 4 staples, while the 1916 has 2 staples.  If anyone has any interest in either, please advise.

I have not had a lot of the original catalogs but the ones I have and the others that I can remember only have 2 staples. Again, these are pre 1900.
