I was looking at a nice 1894 recently, sorry guys I fell off the 86 wagon, and it has a Waddy Colvert firearms research letter, not from CFM. I did a little digging and appears that maybe it really doesn’t carry much weight. Just wondering how others might feel about these letters.

Yes I have emailed Jessie for a SNS just for the real deal.

Tom,

Waddy was using the very same records that Jesi has access to, so the information on his letter should be accurate.  Get back up on the horse Marine!

Oh I plan too Bert. It’s just that sometimes you run across something that you can’t live with out!

I regards to the Colvert letter I figured he was using  CFM records but also saw some evidence of possible mistakes in his letters. Not to say they were fraudulent just had errors. So I had to ask. Thanks

As with anything that has to be read & interpreted from those old ledger records, there will always be a small number of translation errors.
