would anyone be able to assist in dating this Ammo or access a fair valua to it.it is 16 gauge and has almost an entire box of the empty shells in it

These boxes of primed but empty shells bring a few hundred dollars when in very good condition.  These would bring less.  I am not the one to give you a better idea of value.
