Not sure of the caliber, but it’s a Montgomery Ward’s Extra Power (high velocity) cartridge sold from the early 30’s through the 50’s. It was produced by Federal.
I think you are right as I have a couple of boxes of 22 WRF. Now the question, who is the manufacturer? Looks like EP. Don

I didn’t remember I had boxes of 22 WRFs to compare but I sure didn’t have Montgomery Wards ammo. Now this begs the question, should I shoot it?

Bravo! I didn’t know because I shot Revelation, also made by Federal.
The rim looks as though someone already tried to fire it

Single load it and rotate it so the striker can hit a different spot. Unless you wand to keep it in your collection? Many times the old rimfires loose the priming compound into the powder. This is why you see so many of the Henry cartridges with striker marks.
