You misunderstand, Mike: the purpose of that device was not palliative, it was political…and for that, it worked brilliantly!

You misunderstand, Mike: the purpose of that device was not palliative, it was political…and for that, it worked brilliantly!
Maybe so but I think a lot of people felt safer wearing it, some still do. It may have helped avoid a few infections, who knows? But yes, there certainly is a political aspect.
