Hope to see some of you in San Marcos in April! TGCA Spring show is April 22-24 at the Embassy Suites conference center. For info go to the Association’s website or send me a PM. I’m seeing a growing number of Winchesters at this show and the prices have been low, many of the sales at the fall show were to vendors headed for Tulsa.

Was great to see at least a half dozen WACA members at the TGCA show this weekend, may have even managed to recruit two new members and a CFM member. Wish I could have remembered my membership number. Also got to visit with Bob Reed. Met him a few years back at our Waco show, he told me today he made it to the Cody show for I believe 31 consecutive years but he hasn’t been for quite some time. Old gentleman loves talking about Winchesters and he’s sharp as a tack. Good thing he tires out easily, I got him to rest a spell in a chair behind my table and even hooked him up to facilitate the loan of some Texas Ranger memorabilia for a display at our spring show next year commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Texas Rangers.
Since I brought it up; if anyone has Texas Ranger memorabilia that they would like to loan to the exhibit please contact me. The Rangers will be providing security once again for this show so I feel it will be well looked after and appreciated.
A bit of bad news, I seem to be running low on trading material so if you drop by to see me in Cody please bring eye candy.
