OfflineBert, or anyone else, Do You have any idea how many 1885 Scheatzen rifles were manufactured “left handed”



I took the A5 scope off and replaced it with an original mid range, thanks Anthony. I already posted this in the “rifles” thread. so this was unintentional.

OfflineI’d venture a guess that it would only be about 10% or less of the total number of cheek piece butt stocked rifles made. That is solely based off the idea that only 10-12% of the population is left handed. So its likely probably way less than 10% of the remainder of produced stocks.
I do wonder if such a feature is even noted in the factory records correctly.

Yes, Winchester did specifically note it in the ledger records. I still need to know what the serial number is on the subject Schuetzen Rifle. I can see that it is a Second variation Schuetzen. It is possible that the A5 Telescope was factory installed… and needs to be put back on the rifle.
