A fellow member on this site just sent me an email pointing out the number of my total posts.  The Model 1892 is my primary collecting and research interest. Maybe this is a lucky sign in the new year?  LaughCool

Too late… you already ruined it with this post!  Might as well keep posting now.

Oh but it does not end there!  You are approaching a really rough stretch of posts!! After the 1895, you will quickly need to collect the 1897, then a 1900, then a 1901, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1905, 1906, 1907, 1910, 1911, and finally a 1912!!!  You have an expensive road ahead unless you give up and stop now!!!!

Great description – never really knew how to refer to those “funny looking” 1895’s….until just now!

If he is, we all need to ride his coat tails and see if the luck rubs off.

Nope, and No need to worry about that… I do not spend any time in Casino’s, or even buy lottery tickets (poor man’s retirement plan).  The only gambling I do is in the stock market, and last year (2017) was a very low risk gamble with a very large pay-off!!

I may buy some lottery tickets this week, generally do so almost every year or so. Too good at numbers to take it seriously. Have done quite well in the stock market myself in recent years. That’s why I’m starting a business instead of looking for a job these days.

Bert’s on the right track.  Lottery tickets are just a way for state governments increase taxes on the gullible.

I call it the “Redneck Retirement Plan” but I’m really a big fan of optional taxes. Especially when I generally opt out!
