Check this out, noting that the underbidder has an 85% rating with this seller:

The notorious “Clintonhater”? Guess who. I just told the seller to sue me, as I’ve been trading on ebay since Beanie Babies were their principal commerce.
When I view it shows the underbidder at 100%.
I don’t know how you can have 500+ bids with one single seller and not be a shill.
Sincerely,
Maverick

The conclusion to this phony sale: no negative feedback from the seller, no long drawn-out confrontation with ebay as I’ve endured (& surmounted) before, the seller merely canceled the transaction after I accused him of engineering a shill bid; “like it never happened,” as the TV ad says. Anybody who doubts shill bidding is an everyday occurrence on on-line auction sites has his head in the sand.
