I just looked at Rock Island Auction’s new website. I can’t stand it. Call me old fashioned but the black background is terrible. Maybe I am getting too old and can’t stand change. It seems like the old website was easier to navigate also or is it just me? What do you think?
I don’t frequent the site so I don’t know what’s been upgraded other than color but I do prefer the ‘dark mode’ when a site has it available. It’s supposed to reduce eye strain when reading at might, but I just think it’s a cool look. I also like their preset filters. I hit Winchester, carbine, and I was right where I wanted to be. No 2 finger typing in the search box ?.
Now they just need to drop their commission price and it’ll be worth shopping there ?
It looks fine to me. BUT. When you click on a gun to look at it, then go back to the main page it dumps you back at the top of the page. Then you have to search for where you left off. Very annoying.

Just eye candy for me occasionally but I agree.
