I have a client in need of a competent Gunsmith in the Columbia South Carolina area, who can validate the internal parts on an original Henry 1860 44 RF rifle.  Any Suggestions?

Is your concern these parts have been replaced with non-original parts?

Clarence,

We want to validate the originality so that we value it for sale. According to my client, the action functions well, it is tight and smooth. The butt plate matches the serial number. Any suggestions? Thanks for your input.

Why not post several good photos of the gun on the Forum? If that’s to public, PM the pictures to a Henry collector of your choice. A gunsmith is for gun repair. T/R

I am working on getting some better photographs for that reason, but not sure that will help with the internal parts.  Once I have the photos, I will share and possibly post them. Thank you for your insights, very much appreciated.

Dennis, here is a picture of my Henry when I had it apart to replace a broken firing pin.  His should be similar.
