I received my copy of the Red Book and must tell you all I am really impressed. ( If you already have your copy, you already know ) What a good feeling it is to know the “real world” prices of my Winchesters. Bye Bye Blue book !! Larry & Bert did an outstanding job. I can’t begin to imagine the work involved to put this work together. When I first ordered it, I thought, WOW, it’s $60.00 ? Well, it’s worth every penny. A good investment for sure. Thanks Larry & Bert. Dale.

Dale,
You are most welcome, and thank you for the glowing feedback. You are correct that it was a lot of hard work, and very time consuming! The 5th edition will be even better, as we intend to replace as many of the B&W pictures with color as possible. I will continue to add additional information from my research surveys where appropriate.

Have a 4th Edition coming in the mail any day! I emailed Trish and she said next week they hoped to have it on the Web site available for order next week.
Can’t wait to get this Red Book! Appreciate not only the effort in a book such as this but also the information and knowledge the WACA provides.

Got mine today and have not really had the time to sit down with it yet, however just leafing through the pages I was like…oh boy oh boy oh boy! This is an amazing wealth of information and to have accurate price guide is priceless. Thanks Larry & Bert for this fine tool!

I also commend Bert and Sir Larry, a job well done and noticeable improvements in each edition. I see the book is now available on this site, and is the first book you see when opening the WACA book store. Also, not sure if you noticed, but there is a nice back page ad on the Points West magazine the Buffalo Bill Historical Center sends out to those of us that are members. I thought that was very cool ………. congrats Bert & Larry, excellent work.

Gary,
Thanks. As you know, Larry & I have gone through many iterations of the book, and are still working to improve it further for the 5th edition. The amount of information we compiled to create it has been a real journey, and learning experience. We have a lot of people to thank for all the help along the journey.
Thanks again,
Bert
