    Good Evening People,

Wait a Minute, that just doesn’t sound right. It seems soooooo impersonal. Lets start over again.

   Good Evening Guys and Gals,,,,:hi:,

It’s 6:36 pm, 22 April 2015, here in The Twilight Zone. It was a little cool out today, some rain, some sun. The Farmers are Plowing up their Fields. The Magnolia Trees are Blooming.

As the Title says, Posting on a Forum, or Posting to a Thread. I don’t know what you think of my opening Statement, but doesn’t it seem a little impersonal? Doesn’t the second header seem more enjoyable? These are just a few of My Thoughts (opinion) of making it a little MORE FUN to read my post or any post. (I know, here we go again). Long paragraphs, this person just rambles on just to make a minuscule point, but I do enjoy writing about stuff, Collecting Winchesters In-particular,  My Experiences Using Them, “Back in The Day”, Hopefully Answering someones Question. If you want (a real laugh), just check out what I have posted in other threads, but I am a person that likes to share stories, my knowledge and my feelings with Other People.

Personally, I Do Not like to hurt other peoples feelings, I don’t mean to be offensive, but I will be defensive in expressing my thoughts (opinion) about a subject, as to what I perceive to be true, with all my worldly knowledge.(if that didn’t make you laugh,I’ll try harder next time). I would Like to Post a Partial Quote from a Thread I had responded to, I am using this as an Example Only to Form My Opinion.

    Quote:

Mark,

I have to jump in and state… you are turning into a literary giant!!  I had no idea that you had that much talent bottled up just waiting to get outWink

Well, Not Taking that Statement Out of Context. I took it as a Compliment, because of the added *wink*. Now, I will say I do know who authored that statement, I have never met them, have only e-mailed a few times between us, that person has answered questions for me, he is a very Knowledgeable Winchester Person and we Never had a Phone Conversation.

What I am Trying to Convey, Express, Emphasis (basically say) is. Written Words are just that, (just an example), a means of asking a question or answering a question about a specific Winchester or Their Thoughts (opinion) about a Winchester Subject. Written Words are just a Basic Method of Communicating. There is No Emotional Context to Printed Words (unless you are like me and try to show that aspect in my Long Ramblings), but it takes time to try and convey that. You, Do Not Get that Personal Heartfelt Emphasis of Their Passion of Collecting Winchesters and Passing Their Knowledge On To Others (sounds like a Quote and not from Georges Bible), which they have done, so many times.

So in Closing, From The Twilight Zone, It’s 8:51 pm, 22 April 2015. The Sun has Set, It’s gonna get a little cool tonight, but don’t worry, I still have the Kitchen Cook Stove Going.

I would Like to Add the Non-Standard Disclaimer:

#1 – I hope you enjoyed my Thread if you took the time to read it and comprehend it.

#2 – I Enjoyed Typing it, as all my ailments have vanished from my body.

#3 – Emoticons do add a little Fun Expression of Emotion.

#4 – This Post was just My Thoughts (of over a week now) to Make Light of a Subject.

#5 – Again, my Example Quote, was just that an Example. No Harm No Foul.

#6 – I, tried my best to keep this Thread short, yes I could have gone for Indefinitely, but 9:00 pm is approaching and in The Twilight Zone you have to go to Bed at that time.

#7 – If I did make any sense out of what I said, and you would like to post a Reply, You are Very Welcome to.

#8 – Remember it’s just My Thoughts, about trying to Communicate with Others using a Forum.

Mark.,

It was meant as a both a compliment and a gentle poke in fun.  For those who have personally met me, or have spoken with me on the phone, they know that I have a wicked sense of humor, and like to poke & prod in fun… 21-years in the U.S. Navy helped develop itLaugh

However, it also taught me not to beat around the bush or mince my words when the situation calls for it.  A number of people (that do not know me personally) tend to believe that I am overly direct… and admittedly, there are occasions that I am blunt and to the point. I first and foremost believe in total honesty.  I also do not like sugar coating something that needs to be stated in no uncertain terms.

Anyway, I never intentionally set out to offend anyone (you included), but apparently, it sometimes happens. If I have done so, please accept my apology.

   Hey Bert,

Thanks for the Reply, to my Thread. I will agree that Honesty is the Best Policy (something I was taught, way back in the day) and yes there is always the time, to be straight forward and not beat around the bush. Sugar Coating something is just a manner of getting someone to swallow the line, that they are being fed.

I too, have a sense of Humor. But it is a Dry Humor (off the wall) and lots of times people will just stop and look at me (as if I am from The Twilight Zone) and say to themselves, where did that come from. It’s just Me, and My thoughts trying to interject a little fun into a conversation, be it in printed words or voice communication.

So Bert, Thank You for your 21 years of NAVY Service and what you have done for The WACA.

  hokie:

PS: This one is for you……..
