I’m planing a trip to Mt Rushmore before the Cody Show. what is the best road to Cody pulling a 5th wheel trailer US-14 or US-16?

I have driven both routes from Cody over to Gary’s house in the past few years, and if it was me pulling a 5th wheel, I would be inclined to take US-16. Both routes have some very steep inclines and tight turns, but US-16 is a slightly bigger road.

Sorry, I was out of town for work last night. Bert is correct that Hwy 16 to Buffalo is a little more trailer friendly. Hwy 14 to Ranchester has a lot more tight switchbacks and I think steeper grades as well. Besides, you need to come thru Buffalo so you can eat at "Winchesters Steakhouse".
