Unless the roll-die was itself damaged, what accounts for the “washed-out” look of the words in the middle of the long marking?

For my own learning, it’s the “W” pattern on the forend that is not a factory pattern, yes? That’s what immediately stood out to me at my early stages in this game 🙂
Yes, and the potential high bidder may not even know that it is not factory original.
Yes and thank you. I was happy to have immediately noticed that and been right. I’ve been trying so hard in the last year to absorb as much info as possible, but wow, there’s so much!
