Hey Everyone!

My name is Kurt Martonik and I’m excited to be a new member on the forum! I am a gunsmith out of Elk Co, PA and am just getting my shop up and running after working the last few years as a stockmaker at C. Sharps Arms. While I am currently not taking on any additional work outside the local area, I specialize in stockmaking and checkering. I pride myself in trying my best to recreate and fix firearms to the factory standard using original checkering patterns and finishes when possible. While I have an assortment of Winchesters, hunting rifles like the Model 92, 94, 54, 70, and 43 are of my primary interest. 

Additionally I have a website where I occasionally post different processes I use in my gunsmithing venture.
