Good morning Cory,
And welcome to the wonderful world of Winchesters. I grew up in Michigan but have been in Houston, Texas since 1980. I do not miss shoveling snow and hurricanes are not really that bad. Just make certain that you have a good generator and Lots of gas cans and plan ahead. Definitely know how to siphon gas out of the car gas tanks. Your neighbors especially!!
What Winchesters are you interested in?

Wanted to introduce myself. My name is Cory & after poking around the website & hearing good stuff about the group I decided to join. Retired Air Force & interest in firearms since a child. Grew up hunting deer & elk in Montana, still hunt them both.

Welcome Cory,
I grew up in Connecticut. Fished Long Island Sound, hunted upstate NY. I am also an Air Force veteran, 70-74. Stay away from Winchester 22’s , very addictive.

Hey all,
Thanks for the welcome. I really like S&W revolvers but I am drawn to the big lever actions. I have a Browning remake 1886 & just bought a 1954 vintage Winchester 71. Few years ago I picked up a Mirkou mfg 1873 color case pistol grip in 45 Colt that I have longed for. Have a few Model 70’s of varying ages also. I think it’s my love of the old west & the lore of a “Winchester” that draws me to them.
