My name is Mike. I recently moved back to Maine after 16 years in Texas.

I bought my first Winchester about 5 months ago. It is a 1907 351 with a 4 digit serial number. It has quickly become my favorite rifle. It has made me not only a fan of Winchester rifles, but i also enjoy the vintage Winchester advertisements.<img alt="351" src="http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/j417/mkwaldron0801/20180313_083605_zps0wsgjq5n.jpg~originalImage Enlarger” />

Welcome, Mike. Always been intrigued by the 1905’s and 1907’s. Do you shoot it?

Mike

I do shoot it. I havent learned how to do my own reloading yet, so its a bit pricey to shoot. I have a 44 mag too, so ive really been looking forward to doing my own reloads.

I once had a minty M1907 that had SDSO engraved in the side with a Dremel tool. A little research on the rifle showed it was one of the rifles auctioned off by the San Diego Sheriffs Office. They must have used these in the day.    Big Larry
