I recently purchased a model 1894 .30 30 mfg 1917 from a gentleman in Virginia. The rear sight has been changed out, likely when the peep sight accessory was added. I plan on removing the added sight and finding an original rear sight. Not sure if the front sight is original? I’m curious to know what exactly came on this gun originally.

It is not possible to answer your question without first knowing which specific variation your Model 1894 is. Posting several clear pictures of gun to include the sights currently on it would be of great benefit.
