To many gullibles, a high price serves as validation that the item “has” to be right. Would the dealer or auction house dare to set such a figure if its authenticity was questionable? It’s the customary way of doing business for Collectors in Houston.

Wow – when I first starting reading the comments about the barrel lettering, I figured it wasn’t great, but wow… this is horrific.

It missed their estimate by quite a bit but I would have never dreamed it would bring $25K. Apparently there’s something we don’t understand going on here.
