Hi,
I have a Mod 94 with a 20″ barrel and a half-length magazine tube. I have never seen one like it anywhere online. Interested in any additional information. I purchased the rifle new about 1992 in a chain sporting goods store in a mall in Memphis. (I don’t remember the name of the store, not large, not Dick’s or Bass Pro. I don’t remember the exact cost, but it was on sale and a good deal. It has hardwood stock (not walnut) and is very nicely finished. I had a gun smith install a set of Williams aperture sights and at the time he remarked on how hard the receivers were and that it would require a carbide drill to break through the case hardening. I think this is NOT one of the sintered steel receivers. I speculate that this was part of a special run made up for this store chain, perhaps using old parts, for a value price point they could promote. I only shot the rifle a few times, but my impression is that it is quite accurate, functions smoothly and surely.
I have tried researching for a match, and have never found anything like it in any reference book, etc. ‘curious if anyone can shed some light on this.
Many thanks,
Fox Creek

You will need to provide the serial number so that we can identify when it was manufactured. It would also help to know what specific cartridge it is chambered for. Finally, pictures of the gun would be of great benefit.
